  23. I second the recommendation for using VMM with Lightwave.  I have used
  24. it to render pictures requiring 40 Mb (on my 16 Mb system) and it has
  25. worked great.  The best thing is that, percentage wise, it only affects
  26. rendering time a little.  The only period of real intensive paging
  27. activity is during shadow map creation, but thereafter, the number of
  28. page faults per unit time is small.
